What do we cover?

The Conversion 90 framework is broken down into 7 modules. Within each section, we have various lessons. Think of these as micro-frameworks.

Within each micro-framework, I introduce the concept behind the micro-framework, I talk about why this is important to us as video professionals, and then I go on to show you the exact steps that you need to take in order to get this built into your business.

Module 1: The Buyer's Mindset
We understand the importance of pitching and The Buyer’s Mindset, which gives us a solid foundation as we start to build out our Conversion 90 Pitches, Proposals and Quotes.
Module 2: Re-Interpret The Brief
We then re-interpret the brief, which allows us to condense the client’s brief and also allows us to structure our pitch, proposal or quote. We do this by using the 'Get To By' method. Who are we looking to Get? What are we looking to get them To do? And By which means are we going to do that?
Module 3: Get
In The Get section we profile their audience, as this gives us all the answers to everything that we need throughout the rest of the pitch, proposal, or quote. This allows us to build confidence in the buyer, which is a major part of the value equation.
Module 4: To
In the To section, we identify the actions that we are looking to encourage our client’s audience to take and the actions that will ultimately lead to a successful project. By being aware of these, and showing your client just how attainable they are (because of the work that you did in the Get section), by the time we get to the creative, it’s no longer subjective and the client fully understands why you are putting forward whatever concept you land upon.
Module 5: By
The By section is the creative section. The storyboard, the treatment, the script, and whatever else you usually put into your pitches, proposals or quotes. But this is no longer subjective and because the client has seen how and why you’ve come to this conclusion, the Perceived Likelihood of Results is sky high. We also look at how we forecast the ROI for the client to ensure working with us is a no-brainer.
Module 6: The Summary
We summarise the work that we did in the Get and the To, remind them of the forecasted Results, show the Return On Investment and open up the floor to questions if we’re in a pitch environment.

What followed was a year of pain, embarrassment and depression.  But then Tim read a book - Black Box Thinking by Matthew Syed.

Tim knew that if he found the courage to learn from his mistakes, he would be able to build back strong.  And that's exactly what he did.

After making a promise to his wife, Tim reviewed everything.  Every minute detail of his business.  But also every minute detail of the video production industry.
